A Little Californiacation.

First annual "Friends Trip!" Last week we went to San Diego with our friends... the May's and the Hill's.

Our first night there we went to Sea Port Village. Lots of fun stores and yummy food! We noticed one thing at Sea Port Village... lots of people working out. Lots of guys running around with no shirts on. Haha... nice dinner entertainment.

On our first full day in California we went to Del Mar Beach. The babies did so great at the beach all day.

On our last day at the beach we all went to Solana Beach. There was almost NO ONE there. We had the beach to ourselves! It was awesome.

Ella is starting to smile and coo! She is especially smiley in the mornings; this of course BRIGHTENS our day! This is such a FUN phase.

We've had better days.

Today Ella had her 2 month shots. She was so happy and cheerful before we went to the doctors, now she is so sad and teary. And, so is mom!

Bath Time Success

We did it!

We figured out how to bathe our daughter without an absolute scream-session!! I should have known all along… this girly-girl likes our tub! All we needed was a large Roman tub and bath pillow and we have a happy daughter. I am just glad I can finally bathe her without my heart breaking because of her cries!

Good Night Ella.

The other night Ella would not go to sleep. I tried everything…bottle, binky, rocking chair, letting her cry (only for a few minutes), swing, bouncy chair…She just cried and cried and was fighting going to sleep.

So, I thought I would check her diaper. As soon as I laid her down on the changing table… She Fell Asleep! Good to know. Next time, we will start with the changing table!

Bow Disaster.

I love putting bows on Ella. I think she looks so cute with ridiculously huge bows. However, the bigger they are the more Ella has a tendency to pull them down! Check out our Big Bow Problem!

Best Buds!

Yesterday we had a Rock Band Date Night (with the kiddos). Cam and his buds were rockin' out to Country Hits and the occasional Rock song ALL night.
